Ear Up Busking 2020: Music x Fashion Creative Scheme Recruitment

1). Project Director (10 months Contract, from Jun 2020 to Mar 2021)

Responsibilities

  • Overall project management, planning, high-level coordination
  • Organizing online master classes and online busking competition
  • Conducting project committee meeting
  • Liaison with key stakeholders of project including government funding body, mentors, speakers and industry support bodies

Requirements

  • Degree in Communication/Animation/Event Management/Music/Arts or related fields
  • Over 7 years in marketing/music/event organizing experiences with good management experiences and skills
  • Experiences of project management of government-funded projects with good track record is preferable
  • Besides project execution, the candidate should have the good industry knowledge and ability to lead and drive the development of this project
  • Can effectively communicate with multi-stakeholders i.e. the government department which provides funding, key music industry supporters and program participants
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese (both written and spoken)

2). Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager (10 months Contract, from Jun 2020 to Mar 2021)

Responsibilities

  • Coordination with business partners and service providers
  • Organizing recruitment, training, performance, online master class and online busking competition.
  • Project marketing and publicity
  • Project purchasing in compliance with government fund procedures
  • Project documentation
  • Committee meetings secretariat
  • Project website and content update

Requirements

  • Degree in Communication/Animation/Event Management/Music/Arts or related fields
  • At least 5 years in marketing/music/event organizing experiences
  • Experiences of project management of government-funded projects with good track record is an advantage
  • Relevant event/concert/publicity, marketing or PR experiences
  • Good command of English and Chinese (both written and spoken)
  • Applicants with less experience will be considered as assistant project manager


3). Marketing Specialist (10 months Contract, from Jun 2020 to Mar 2021)

Responsibilities

  • Operate and update digital marketing platforms, including websites, EDM, SEO and Facebook, etc.
  • Plan and execute social media strategies such as analytics, campaign planning and social media monitoring
  • Organizing events, online master class and online busking competition
  • Coordinating and supporting the implementation of a wide range of PR
  • Marketing activities and functions
  • Monitor budget management and ensure the budget is well controlled

Requirements

  • Degree holder or equivalent, preferably major in Marketing / Communication /Event Management
  • Strong digital marketing sense, detail oriented, capable of working independently and under pressure
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in F&B marketing or PR
  • A good team player with good communication, interpersonal, analytical and project management skills
  • Can effectively communicate with multi-stakeholders i.e. the government department which provides funding, key music industry supporters and program participants
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese (both written and spoken)

Ear Up Global 2020 Recruitment

About the Project:  

Renaissance Foundation has planned to run a music talent nurturing program called “Ear Up Music Global Program 2020” with scope below:

 

The objectives of the project are below:

  1. Nurture and incubate local young music talents with training and mentoring by experienced music groups, and provide the young talents with overseas performance opportunities and industry exchanges with overseas
  2. Twenty selected budding music groups will be led by three experienced groups. The paring up of music groups will enhance their branding and exposure in overseas performance, so as to better promote the music of Hong Kong overseas, and build up the overall branding of HK’s music and creative industries

Key project deliverables:

  • selecting outstanding local indie music talents
  • matching up selected indie music talents as mentees with local famous music individuals or groups as mentors
  • training selected talents
  • sponsoring the pairing up of music groups to perform in overseas leading music festivals/platforms (a total of 6 overseas trips to music festivals) and study trip after the performances
  • organizing experience sharing events to the industry and a large-scale finale public concert in Hong Kong.

Ear Up Tour 2020 Recruitment

About the Project:  

Renaissance Foundation has planned to run a music talent nurturing program called “Ear Up Tour – Mainland 2020”

 

The objectives of the project are below:

  1. Showcasing the vitality of Hong Kong music, and to promote HK’s original music brands among young people of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area music
  2. Building up HK’s original music brand sin Greater Bay Area by promoting on Greater Bay Area’s social media, live streaming and digital music platforms
  3. Building up cluster of music industries of Greater Bay Area, and create synergies by facilitating collaboration and exchanges among practitioners in the Greater Bay Area

Key project deliverables:

  • Select up to 16 local mentee music groups and 4 mentor music groups, up to 120 music talents
  • Matching up selected indie music talents as mentees with local famous music individuals or groups as mentors
  • Training selected talents
  • Sponsoring the pairing up of music groups to perform in tours to tertiary institutions and Live House venues in 6 major cities of Guangdong-HK-Macao Greater Bay Area, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, Zhongshan, Zhuhai and Macau
  • Expected to attract more than 19,000 audiences for the 16 tertiary institutions and Live House performances
  • Organizing experience sharing events to the industry and two finale public concerts in Hong Kong.
  • Estimated to reach over 13 million people through the project promotion campaign
