"Days" - Renaissance Summer Camp 2018
The 2018 Renaissance Summer Programme aims to provide the next generation of creators with creative training, guidance on developing creative proposals, and project grants to exceptionally outstanding proposals. Participants may work in one or more of the following art disciplines: music, film and literature. At the same time, the inaugural Renaissance Award ceremony will be held during the programme, awarding new innovative projects from Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan that carry on the independent spirit of creation. Winning projects will be shown during the programme, and winners will be invited to host forums and talks with programme participants to share their creative experiences.
Programme Application Information
Date: 11 July – 15 July 2018
Location: Jockey Club Student Village III, University of Hong Kong (9 Lung Wah Street, Kennedy Town)
Participants: Passionate about creative arts; aged between 18 and35
Art Disciplines: Music, Film, Literature
Requirement: Existing project proposals or previous projects should be submitted together with the applications
Languages: Cantonese and Mandarin
Fees: $3800 (Hong Kong), $5000 (Mainland or Overseas). Fees include catering and accommodation. Fee concessions can be applied if there are financial needs.

Programme Tutors
Chan Wai, Qian Gang, Jing Wong, Ying Liang, Patrick Lee.
Participants will be assigned to groups led by different tutors, and will receive one-on-one feedbacks on participants’ projects.
Project Grant
Financial grants will be awarded to exceptionally outstanding creative projects based on participants’ proposals – Music-related projects can receive up to HK$80,000, Film-related projects (Short Drama and Documentary) up to HK$150,000, and Literature-related projects (Fiction and Non-fiction) up to HK$30,000.
Programme Activities: Seminars, Lectures, Workshops, Open Theatres, Creative Nights, etc.
